My name is Mike Silve and I am an independent photographer based in Enfield, North London, and work with schools across North London and further afield. I provide a flexible ‘one-stop’ solution for schools and nurseries wanting photography and videography for their class group and individual photographs, prospectuses, web design, end of year shows, nativities, staff photos and more.

Photography

Individual & Class Photos

Individual and sibling photographs can be taken on a variety of backgrounds. Photographs are retouched to remove cuts, grazes and other blemishes.

Parents can order mounted prints, framed prints, fridge magnets and key rings via a traditional order card or online using this website. Images can be supplied to the school to import into the school database.

Class photographs can be photographed in the traditional tiered style inside or out (weather permitting). Alternatively groups can be photographed full length and composited into a pano or regular sized print suitable for framing.

Videography

Filming

I am available to film your school productions such as nativities, carol concerts, prize giving days, end of term shows and Easter celebrations. These are made available to parents as DVDs and USB memory sticks.

Performances are filmed with multiple battery powered cameras (no trailing wires) and edited to produce a high quality product with music, titles, credits and transitions.

I will design the box inserts and order forms to help you maximise interest amongest parents.

Performance Photographs

Cast photos are a great way to introduce the performance and add value to the DVD. These are presented as a slideshow with transitions and music. Parents are often keen to buy the photographs as a record of their child’s performance so images can be made available to parents to purchase as mounted prints.

Promotional Photography

School Life

Photographing school life from arrival and assemblies through to lessons and after school clubs provide the school with a photographic resource that can be used for a variety of applications. I can spend a few hours or the whole day with you to capture set pieces or a complete view of life at school.

Staff Photos

Either on an inset day or when the children are having their photographs taken, staff photos can also be taken. These can be used for lanyards, ID passes, school entrance welcome displays, websites and newsletters.
